	Many Westerners would be happy to see the West ‘Islamified’. We are vulnerable to Islam because the West has rejected the supreme centrality of Christianity, and replaced it with a false set of value ‘values’ too weak to withstand the (growing) force of Islam. Only by a return to traditional spiritual depth and rigorous logic (of Catholicism) can we resist the engulfing destruction. Present Western ‘values’ are too flimsy for such a task.

European Muslims have brought their political agendas with them from Islamic countries. Europe’s Muslim associations are Trojan horses for the banned Islamic organisations in the home countries. Muslim political activism in Europe is driving a wedge between the USA and Europe. Political activism is forced into Muslims-only organisations, for the time being.

	Out of 2m Muslims, half a million considered leaving Britain after the July 7, 2005 London terrorist attacks. ‘Islamophobia’ to them presents ‘abuse, hostility, arson and racist attacks on mosques’.

	In Indonesia, radical Muslims have penetrated almost all spheres of society. Anti-American slogans have become as normal at gatherings as prayers in mosques. One speaker said ‘the war by the USA is a war to demolish all Muslims and all Muslim countries, not to destroy terrorists’.

WHITE FLIGHT, AND PARALLEL LIVES
‘White flight’ is now worse in some UK cities, with more Asian Muslim families snapping up white-neighbourhood properties. A government special adviser commented (in 2001) on white and Muslim communities living parallel lives with no contacts. Now (2007) he has commented on: * residential ghettoes growing *whites not buying properties in the areas * pubs closing, shops becoming Muslim owned *white children minorities in schools * political correctness and racial laws (religion about to be added) now part of the problem * new laws (unintended consequences) now preventing discussion, individuals fearing to voice viewpoints, experiences, assessments *laws on discrimination sound but not those covering inciting of racial (or religious) hatred. Today’s legislation “really stems from 40 years ago” to counter the rise of extreme right organisations. “More mature debate is now essential.”

	What is hard to swallow is the rising power of radical Islam within mainland USA. The unwillingness of (specific groups of) American Muslims to accept US policies as anything but anti-Islam disturbs and threatens national security. More disturbing is the administration’s inability to see the threat.

	The school, in West London, used teaching material that said Jews engage in witchcraft, sorcery and obey Satan. Pupils were incited to list ‘the defects of worthless heresies’ such as Judaism and Christianity. The roots of violence are in the preaching of it and the sanctification of it.

	In many mosques, in Britain, in cities, towns, suburbs, there are imam clerics just like him, giving powerful speeches turning Muslim worshippers against this country.

	Iran’s hostility must be seen in the context of its internal problems: political Islam and the theocratic system there are failing and the people know it. Aggression (to the external world) is an old strategy for government in this situation.

IMMATURE, VULNERABLE, DANGEROUS ?
Young British Muslims, attracted to the militant, anti-Western rhetoric from extremists, are immature and vulnerable. They have been exploited by false propaganda about ‘their duties to Islam’.

	We are in a civil war which Europe is too timid even to acknowledge let alone win. Islam has youth and will, Europe has age and welfare. Under political correctness developed over decades, such threats are not discussed, dissenting voices censored. As a society we are terminally mad.

Many of my Muslim friends are in despair. If this girl wants to wear a veil let her attend a Muslim school. ‘Minority groups, discriminated against, rights infringed, legal aid’, I’m sick of it. The taxpayer pays. Moderate Muslims in Britain are welcome, with open arms; aggressive radicals who want an Islamic state of this country, let’s get rid of them. 	(In this Islam and West confrontation), civilised human behaviour is under question, and found wanting in many directions. Culturally this is nothing less than suicidal. We lose any sense of common culture.

	Liberal Western democracies have to deal with radical Muslim extremists who benefit from the freedoms of the West but who do not believe in those freedoms (for others) and want to tear them down. The question is how far should a nation tolerate extreme intolerance?

DISSOLVING EXTREMIST TENDENCIES
The fact that a substantial number of young UK Muslims hold extreme views is “nothing at all to worry about” - you are in denial here. In the present climate where young impressionable Muslims are preyed on by the same extremists who radicalised the perpetrators of 7/7, and in the light of revelations about what is preached in some mosques, many of us can be forgiven for looking askance at Shari’a law. The situation is to be “worried about” as long as the UK Muslim community itself seemingly, makes no (effective) attempt to disabuse the impressionable of extremist tendencies.

	Under the Racial and Religious hatred Act (being) brought in, in Britain it is an offence to stir up racial or religious hatred intentionally or otherwise in public or private, including mosques. Yet what he preaches at Friday prayers is a chillingly vituperative litany against his adoptive country and the non-Muslims who live here. He has not been charged.

	The Muslim community and their leaders deny the messages coming out of (many) mosques, saying most imams are moderate. One exponent of ‘explosive views’ said he was speaking at ‘private prayers’ what he would not speak in the same way ‘out on the street’.

	In a decade, he said, parts of English cities will be controlled by Muslim clerics following not English Common Law but aspects of Muslim Sharia law.

	Liberalism is a Western ideology, non-judgmental of other cultures and civilisations. It is set on tolerating and including non-Westerns. Islam is a non-Western religion set on conquering and converting non-Muslims. They are predators. We are the prey. A radical awakening is needed on our part.

VOICING THE THREAT
The buoyant faith of Muslims, with its attendant jihadi sensibility and Islamic supremacism, could not differ more from that of lapsed European Christians. Many Muslims see Europe as a continent ripe for conversion and domination. Outrageous supremacist claims result. “I want Britain to become an Islamic state. I want to see the flag of Islam raised in 10 Downing Street” (Omar Bakri Mohammed, 2005). An imam in Belgium said “Soon we will take power in this country. Those who criticise us now will regret it, they will have to serve us.”

	Lies are being told by men and women (in the USA), who claim to represent the leadership of their faith. If this is what Christianity is, then I am glad that I am a Muslim. Are they the exception to the rule?

	More Muslims appear to seek the benefits of secular Europe without accepting the values that make Europe worth living in. There are examples of them separating from surrounding cultures and European leaders allowing this as ‘multiculturalism’

We strive for the unity of mankind through the elimination of Islam, a most insidious doctrine of hate. Islam cannot be reformed but it can be eradicated. It cannot be moulded but it can be smashed. It is rigid but brittle, that is why Muslims cannot tolerate criticism of it.

	Britain’s segregated schools (pupils in many tongues, different tongue home lives) are a ticking time-bomb, a government commission said. In the country’s 61 m population, 1 in 5 schoolchildren is from an ethnic minority, double that of 1997, and 1 in 8 pupils speak a language other than English at home.

RELUCTANCE TO DEPORT RIDICULED
It bemuses diplomats in other countries that Britain (its government, judiciary) will not deport “extremists undesirables” immediately (the Qatada Case). Britain’s failure to deport any extremist, following the bombings in the capital, was ridiculed by diplomats in France, Spain, Italy and Germany, who said it was in contrast to their own tough approach. A high-level UK MP said, “We should just kick him out, period, and let him appeal from there.”

	Islamism, the term given to the extreme form of politicised Islam, has become dominant in much of the Muslim world. It is the ideological source of global Islamic terrorism. It derives from radical organisations founded in the 1920’s. They believe that Islam is or should be in a state of war with both West and weakly pious Muslims.

	Human rights laws prevents us in Britain from deporting dangerous extremists. The government has also recently refused to prevent the construction of a giant mosque in the Olympic village (2012). It is allegedly being financed by a ‘dangerously extreme’ sect and thousands of ‘moderate’ Muslims oppose the proposal.

	Human rights doctrine is a principal cultural weapon to undermine fundamental values in Western society. The ‘victim culture’ gives preference to minorities, however they behave, at the expense of the majority who are deemed to ‘oppress’ them. ‘Human rights’ are now probably as significant as the Bible has been in shaping modern Western values.

	The building of a massive Islam mosque, next to the UK’s Olympics site, holding a proposed 70,000 would make a most powerful statement (1.7 to 2 m Muslims in a 61 m. population). Britain is sleepwalking into a relentless transformation.

CONFLICT IN THE FAMILY
‘Rural’ imams are brought into mosques (in the UK) and it is only when their own daughters run away (on being forced into marriage) that they seemed to be embarrassed into realising this practice is wrong. One imam forced his son to marry his brother’s daughter. The marriage was a disaster and the whole family is now at war. You would think brothers would be helpful if their sisters were being forced into something, but the truth is (some) are often more extremist and traditionalist than their parents.

	The youth bulge is rising in many Muslim societies, people in their early 20’s increasing in Egypt, Syria, Morocco, Tunisia and other countries. By 2010 those seeking jobs will be about 50 per cent more in most Arab lands. The unemployment problem, already acute will become intolerable.

The experts and talking-heads tell us Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. It is meaningless fluff. The uncontrollable fanatics rule Islam even at this moment. In the West we must counter the words and actions of only Islamist fanatics who degrade our way of life.

	The unease the West has with Muslims ‘gives other faiths a bad name’. The acts of terrorism (under religious banners) have shaken people’s perceptions, and politicians jumble all faiths into one. Thus anxieties about ‘faith schools’ (here in the UK) are to do with ‘Islamic schools’.

	Given the (current) UK government’s record of capitulating, fundamentalist Muslim clerics in this country think it is only a matter of time before cessation (of opposition) on Sharia law.

IMPOSING ITS VALUES ON BRITAIN The call was for a ban in (UK) state Schools on ‘un-Islamic’ activities such as mixed sports lessons, parents’ evenings, swimming lessons and School plays, in the month of Ramadan. A national newspaper said all this was impracticable and unworkable and bound to cause widespread anger to the vast majority. Giving in to the MCM’s (Muslim Council of Britain’s) wishes would allow a small minority community (1.7 m Muslims in a 60 million population) to impose its values on mainstream British society. Solutions to extremism lies within the Muslim community itself.

	Islam must be stopped. There is nothing good in it that cannot be found elsewhere, but it is unique in its evil design, nature and teachings, not available elsewhere. It transforms good humans into ruthless zombies.

	Islamists socially infiltrate their own people, then undermine the democratic educational system, then they infiltrate the constitutional state.

	How did this extraordinary network, of terrorism, violence and potential insurrection, with roots in Arabia and Asia, come to develop in Britain, cradle of Western liberty? It started in the 1970’s. Muslims entering then were highly traditional, influenced largely by introspective gentle Sufism. But it changed. Mosques became the centre, ideology became radicalised, inflammatory ideas indoctrinated children.

	The claim that there is a ‘police-state Britain for Muslims’ is laughable. It is profoundly offensive to every decent, law-abiding British citizen. It is an insult to our (relatively) fair and tolerant society. It is contemptible.

INTOLERANT AND RETROGRESSIVE ?
Islamophobia is specifically the fear of the return of political Islam, commonly referred to as “Islamism”, intolerant of post-modern permissiveness, etc, wishing to overturn it all in favour of a stern theocracy. Islamism is feared because it is imaginatively linked with Europe’s own pre-modern Christianity and its history of violent sectarianism, the Crusades and the Inquisition. Thus Islamism, viewed as a purely retrogressive and atavistic force, threatens to turn the clock back and reverse the triumphs of the Reformation and the Enlightenment. “The Grand Inquisitor is upfront, morally superior, openly aggressive, denying the validity of other cultures.”

	The (Muslim) headscarf is the way of Sharia into the (Western) legal system. Step by step, this is the (weakened) way to polygamy.

	The problem (in UK) is not so much (Muslim) separation as a desire in some quarters to Islamize Britain (on behalf of 1.7 - 2 m Muslims in a 61 m. population). Such Islamic aggression is gaining ground because of the collapse of British majority values.

Radical political Islam’s concept of Ummah (its global community), and resistance to capitalism, may lie uneasily in an international system of nation-states and global market forces and (until dissolved) find outlet in further militancy.

	Schools (In UK) barely touch upon landmark achievements of Western civilisation. Non-Western societies are portrayed as heroic and good, Western societies as oppressive and brutal. Pupils are being radically disconnected, disenfranchised through ignorance, unattached to the society they inhabit.

ISN’T THIS BRITAIN NOT SAUDI ARABIA?
The whole (UK) nation should be outraged at being dictated to by the extremists who seem to control the MCB (Muslim Council of Britain). This is Britain not Saudi Arabia. If they are given any leeway they will be dictating the rest of their Shari’ah laws to us next. Muslims are three per cent of the UK population and should learn to integrate into the rest of (UK) society rather than try to impose their ways on the rest of us.

	By successfully painting this war on terrorism as a ‘US Crusade’, Islamists have made significant inroads in Muslim societies, pushing the moderates further into a corner.

	Islamic communities (1.7 - 2 m.) in the UK (61 m population) will (eventually, many foresee) form a state within a state, controlled not by the traditional Common Law but by aspects of Muslim Shari’ah law, coming into confrontation with EU laws.

	There are 1,600 mosques and centres in Britain, some small, in houses) and 3,000 imams. A dangerous minority of imams are plainly not balanced in their views and preaching. The enemy within are clerics influencing young Muslims into hating this country.

	The real problem, and greater reality is the myopia of so many Muslims and their twisted sense of morality. Muslims choose, despite whatever protests and resistance is given, however real or perceived, to impose their morality upon others. (Ali Sina, November 2002, on website FaithFreedom.org)

‘OATH OF ALLEGIANCE’ TO UK AND EU ?
Immigration into Britain? The EU Brussels comes up with proposals that are astounding in their lack of the slightest understanding of feeling, sentiment, social solidarity, place, custom, ritual, symbolism or national tradition. “Immigrants should swear an oath of allegiance to EU Laws and the European charter of fundamental rights EITHER instead of an oath of allegiance to the Queen or IN ADDITION to it.” How can ‘a new Briton’ feel any allegiance to a huge abstract entity, which has no common culture, no common language, no common political system, no common consent, no common constitution and which is riddled with corruption? How can ‘old Britons’ even remain hopeful?

	We ignore this situation (dependency on UK welfare, incapacity benefit, and fraud) at our peril. Various radical Muslim groups are already recruiting young black men in their war against the West, supplying them with drugs, weapons, often somewhere to live and, most importantly, a cause.

	“In time, this so-called democracy (USA) will crumble, and there will be nothing. And the only thing that will remain will be Islam."

	The independence of the judiciary is a principle of UK democracy – but there is widespread feeling that a main reason British is ‘wide open’ to terrorism is that the courts have made it impossible (human rights) for it to defend itself.

	The essential dimension of the Israeli conflict having direct bearing on the jihad against the West is that the fight against Israel is not fundamentally about land, it is about hatred of the Jews.

INTEGRATION, TAKE-OVER, EXPULSION ?
Europe’s long-term relations with its burgeoning Muslim minority will follow one of three paths: harmonious integration, an Islamic take-over, or the expulsion of Muslims. Three factors argue for Europe being Islamized – faith, demography and a sense of heritage (Dr Daniel Pipes). Europe becomes more and more a province of Islam, a colony of Islam (Oriana Fallaci). 	Younger generations of Muslims in the UK feel they have less in common with British non-Muslims than the Ummah (world gathering of Islam). They and not their immigrant parents, grandparents are the active fans of Islamic School teachings, Sharia law and politicised Islam.

	Gaddafi is reported as saying that there are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe, without swords, guns, conquests. The 50 million Muslims in Europe (30 m is the current estimate) will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.

Multiculturalism was said to promote equal treatment for all cultures. But one culture was not treated equally, the indigenous British culture. The agenda of equality in practice promotes the radical deconstruction of majority culture. It is against the idea of the nation itself and the values of Western democracy, morality and truth.

	While the vast majority (of UK Muslims polled) were opposed to terrorism, numbers supporting it tacitly are certainly unique: no other community in Britain contains such an enormous reservoir of potential violence against the state.

BANKING ‘HONOUR’ SYSTEM MIS-USED
Court cases and jail sentences are arising from abuse of the ancient (8th c) Hawala or Hundi ‘banking’ system used by Asian migrant workers in the West legitimately sending cash to families, relatives in their countries of origin, the Middle East, India, Pakistan. Involving ‘billions in many currencies’, it is also used illegally to ‘launder’ criminal money dirty-for-clean. The verbal ‘word of honour’ unregulated transfers have an informal or undocumented nature and a ‘sparse or confusing paper trail’ which allows the illegal bypassing of tax and currency regulations.

	Fundamentalist (Islamic) values threaten our values, freedom of thought and speech and the spirit of intellectual enquiry. The danger is that we will end up like those poor despotic and medieval Islamic states in which millions today live miserable and hopeless.

	In the 1960’s Asian Muslims moved to Britain for employment and education. They worked hard, were law-abiding and faced prejudice. Their mosques became like social centres. But their grown children are frequently contemptuous of what they see as their parents’ passivity. They are stirred by Internet accounts of jihadists in far-away countries, and many feel the urge to prove they have not sold out by living in the comfortable, consumerist West.

	In despotic societies, those who have a sense of social conscience, or a desire to be politically involved in the nation’s interest, either walk carefully within strict boundaries set by authority, the government (eg Muslim Taliban) or risk suffering the considerable punitive powers of the state. It robs citizens of a sense of dignity and self worth and encourages fear and stress.

	Al Qaeda (if its icon is still alive) and Iran (its quarrelling leaders) feel they are dealing with an effete, degenerate (Western) enemy, incapable of real resistance. They themselves have no experience of free debate in an open society. We in the West have experienced free debate and criticism (which we can answer), they see division, weakness, fear.

‘DANGEROUS PRECEDENT’ IGNORED
For many Muslim governments, the reflexes of anti-colonialism still triumph over saving lives. Far better to show solidarity with Kartoum for instance, (early 2007) rather than cede an inch to Western concepts of human rights. For that would set a dangerous precedent for decrepit monarchies and dictatorships ruling much of Arab and Muslim world.

	The trend towards hardening segregation is most marked in some (UK) areas with large Asian principally Muslim populations. The majority of Muslims are uncertain of how best to articulate their views when (within their midst) activists turn to fundamentals who they cannot (early) identify.

	Muslims seeking peaceful messages in the Koran must fight not only the plain meaning of the Koran’s text, and the current fashion for militancy, but also the arrow of Islam history. Interpreting the words of Muslim scriptures, so that they pose no threat to peaceful co-existence with non-believers, thus seems a large challenge. It is a challenge well worth taking.

We agree that there are people of peace and people of violence in all religions, violent Christians and peace-loving Muslims. The problem is not prejudice about Islam, but folly in the face of violence and cruelty by some. Every past event should make us remember the ugly truth that a fight is brewing, and that millions of Muslims are not afraid to die (or suborned into that condition).

	An aging population tends to be introspective and sluggish, whereas a young population is more likely to be vibrant and energetic. This may or may not bode well for many countries (facing Muslim growth) and all will depend on whether their political structure is fragile or not.

ANOTHER ‘RELIGIOUS’ FANATICISM
(On global warming) we are shifting away from science and into the realm of religious fanaticism, where the followers of the creed, brimming with self-righteous fury, believe that they are in possession of a higher truth. Like (extremism in) a religion, environmentalism is suffused with hatred for the material world and again, like (extremism in) a religion, it requires devotion rather than intellectual rigour from its adherents. It is intolerant of dissent. Those who question the message (of doom) are regarded as heretics and deniers. The route to personal salvation lies in superstitious rituals such as changing a light bulb or planting a tree after every plane journey. It is tragic that dubious ideology has achieved dominance in our public life. Politicians love the (green) agenda, more opportunities for displays of self-important zeal.
